During the 2008-09 school year the Dover PTO will celebrate Chickering Pride!  As the school's mission statement says, "Chickering School is a place where children learn, laugh, grow, care and make a difference."

Integral to this mission is having our children share a sense of pride - not only in themselves, but in their school, their community and in their environment.  In order to facilitate this, we have set forth several goals for the year.  Together we will:

• Build upon last years "go green" initiative to reduce, reuse and recycle!
• Continue to grow our staff appreciation program to show our teachers and staff how much we appreciate their efforts.
• Involve our children in our community outreach efforts so that they too can feel a sense of pride in helping others.
• Select fundraising efforts that complement our mission.
