Welcome Back !!!
Welcome to the new to the Chickering community and welcome back to the veterans! We are thrilled to be starting our first year under Principal Terry Nugent’s leadership.
The Dover PTO theme for the year is “A New Beginning”; however, until the school confirms everyone’s email address, please excuse the paper distribution. A few critical items for September:
- Back-to-School Picnic, Thursday, September 2, Lower Chickering Fields 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Each family should plan to bring their own picnic dinner. It will be a great way to reconnect after the summer, meet new families, and kick off our new school year.
- Friday, September 10th the PTO will host a New Parent Coffee @ 9:00 a.m. in the Chickering Cafeteria. All are encouraged to attend!
- Saturday, September 11th is Dover Days. The Dover PTO is looking for volunteers to help with tickets, prizes and games (including 5 new surprises!) at the Dover Days Fair. We are expecting a huge turnout this year and need all the help we can get! To sign up for a shift, contact Rebecca Kovrlija at rebeccakov@yahoo.com today. See you at the Fair!
- We need good men and women! The attached Volunteer Form lists how you can help Chickering. Note that we have an immediate need for Room Parents and Sept 23rd Picture Day support. - Mark your calendars for Back-to-School Night on Thursday, September 23
- Order your School Directory and Excuse pads by September 14th. The Committee has been hard at work and will publish the directory as soon as possible. Click here for a copy of the form.
