Additional Volunteer Opportunities for Chickering Families at A Place to Turn:
Over the next couple of months we have arranged for several volunteer opportunities. If you are interested, please consider taking your children to the food pantry and volunteer time as a family or a parent/child pair to assist with tasks that enable the pantry to run smoothly. We encourage you to volunteer if you can and let us know about your experience.
1. Every other week we will have donations to drop off at A Place To Turn. You can schedule the drop off at a time when you can also tour the facility with your child. The drop-of times are very flexible. Please contact Christine Gleason (cgleason08@gmail.com) or Annemarie Thompson (am7thompson@msn.com) if you are able to assist with donation deliveries.
2. Any Wednesday evening from 5:30pm-7:00pm your family or parent/child pair can assist at the pantry sorting donations and checking expiration dates. There is an opportunity to tour the facility and see first-hand how the pantry operates. Please contact Joanne Barry, Director at A Place To Turn at 508-655-8868 or by email at joanne@aplacetoturn-natick.org if you are interested in assisting on a Wednesday evening.
