Interested in Joining the Board?​

Beginning in the winter of each school year, the Dover PTO Nominating Committee begins identifying candidates for the following year’s Executive Board.​

All members of the Dover PTO, which includes all current Chickering parents and legal guardians, are eligible to serve on the Executive Board. Parents and caregivers may express interest in a position themselves or nominate someone they think would be a great candidate.​

Information about the nomination process, open positions, the Nominating Committee, and the annual nomination form will be shared through the Weekly NewsBlast on ParentSquare.​

The Nominating Committee will connect with interested and nominated candidates as part of the process. A proposed slate of candidates is shared with the PTO membership prior to the annual Open Meeting, when voting for the following year’s Executive Board takes place.​
