The Dover Parent Teacher Organization (Dover PTO) represents all parents, teachers, and staff of Chickering School. Our mission is to support Chickering policies and practices by strengthening the Chickering community.

We do this by:

1. Facilitating cooperation and communication between parents, students, and staff

2. Providing a source of volunteer services to the school

3. Raising money which goes directly to Chickering projects, including:

• Curriculum enrichment (40-45%)

• Teacher/classroom support (40-45%)

• Chickering community (10%)​​​​

Our mission is to support and strengthen the Chickering community through hands-on volunteers, curriculum enrichment, teacher/classroom support, fundraising and PTO sponsored community events.

Our History

Dover PTO has a long history of fostering cooperation and communication between parents, students, staff and the greater community. We provide ways for parents to meet with one another and with representatives of the school to consider matters of common interest affecting the students and the school. ​​
