CHECK WRITING CAMPAIGN
Dear Chickering School Families,
The Dover PTO is excited to announce its 2022-23 Check Writing Campaign! In order to raise funds for upcoming programs & events, and to support the teachers and classrooms, the Dover PTO has a primary fundraiser each year. This year, we are thrilled to kick off our Check Writing Campaign, and we are asking for your financial support in order to continue the valuable opportunities and experiences that your funds allow us to provide to Chickering Elementary School.
This year, we’re focusing on our vision to Enhance, Educate, Engage and Excel! To meet this vision, we aim to support our Chickering staff and students through teacher grants, disbursement of teacher discretionary funds, curriculum enrichment programs in the classrooms, and fun and exciting student and family events throughout the year. Your donations to Dover PTO have enabled us to provide these enhancements to Chickering’s community, and we are so grateful for your support.
With the funds raised through our annual fundraisers, Dover PTO typically spends $175 per student per year. You may use this as a guideline, but please consider whatever support feels best to your family. Any support is greatly appreciated, and we hope to achieve 100% family participation.

In addition to donations through our GoFund Me campaign, we gladly accept matching donations from employer programs, and checks (payable to "Dover Elementary PTO") may be sent to our Chickering office mailbox to the attention of our Assistant Treasurer, Jennifer James. The campaign will run from December 13, 2022 through March 31, 2023.
Dover PTO has historically enjoyed a strong commitment and generous support from our community. We hope that you will join in our fundraising efforts and ensure that Chickering School will continue to be an outstanding place where children engage and excel!

The Dover PTO is a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization. All contributions are 100% tax-deductible (in excess of the fair market value of the goods or services received in return). Donation receipts will be provided in circumstances where a tax deduction may be claimed.
Our tax ID number is 043-427-289.
We encourage you to ask your company to match your donation to your child’s school. We are happy to help you follow up or contact your company if the need additional information.
